Leaf Fall On New Plants

It is quite normal for a newly repotted plant, a new purchase or a plant moved from one room to another, to lose one or two lower leaves. Keep MOVEMENT SHOCK to a minimum by repotting into a pot which is only slightly larger than the previous one, by protecting new plants on the way home from the shop and by never moving a plant from a shady spot to a very bright one without a few days in medium light.
